Camp: Day 8&9
The end of day 7 was amazing for Kokrine Hills. That evening, 5 boys made professions of faith. The night previous, 6 girls made professions of faith. The souls reported to their counselors and each counselor and had them explain the gospel to them. While some who made professions didn't prove to be genuine, we were still able to bring up the discussion of Baptism with those who desired to follow Jesus. There was a strong interest. So after our session yesterday we held a baptism class and it was well attended. After some drama about young people making professions and some of us leaders overthinking our priorities we held an additional class with specifics of the Baptism. We offered Baptism for those who attended both classes. Having two of these two classes gave us a better view into the hearts of some of the campers and impressed about their enthusiasm about obey the Lord's command to be baptized.
